Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA), 44-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hillsdale upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS travel to El Camino (South San Francisco, CA) to play the Colts in a bout on Thursday, January 27. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 6-5.

Next up, the Panthers play the Capuchino Mustangs (San Bruno, CA) in a bout, on Saturday, January 22. Burlingame will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 52-27 league loss to Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA).
