In Thursday's non-league match, the host Pocahontas Indians basketball team scored a good 64-50 triumph over the Algona Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Indians meet the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 21. Pocahontas will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The E'Hawks enter the match with a 7-8 record after their 80-29 league loss to Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA).
