In Thursday's league outing, the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA), by a margin of 62-16.
The Tigers (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Nooksack Valley smashed Lynden (Lynden, WA), 64-33, in a league outing.
The Wildcats now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Mariner for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 22. Oak Harbor will clash with a Marauders squad coming off a 48-34 non-league win over Marysville-Pilchuck (Marysville, WA). The Marauders record now stands at 5-1.
