Arizona High School Soccer - Brophy College Prep knocks off Mountain Ridge

Brophy College Prep Broncos (Phoenix, AZ) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Broncos face the Perry Pumas (Gilbert, AZ) in a 6A Premier challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Brophy College Prep will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Pumas enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 4-0 non-league win over North (Phoenix, AZ).

The Mountain Lions now have a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boulder Creek for a 6A Desert Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 25. Mountain Ridge will face a Jaguars team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Mesa (Mesa, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-6.
