The Abington Galloping Ghosts basketball team (Abington, PA), was nudged 63-59 in Friday's league battle with the visiting William Tennent Panthers (Warminster, PA)
The Panthers now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield Township for a Suburban One - American battle on Tuesday, January 24. William Tennent will confront a Spartans team coming off a 66-54 league loss to Wissahickon (Ambler, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-11.
The Galloping Ghosts (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA). The Colonials come into the Suburban One - American battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Plymouth Whitemarsh edged Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA), 64-45, in a league battle.
