Andover Huskies (Andover, MN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), 86-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Andover upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Blaine (Blaine, MN) to play the Bengals in a AAAA Section 7 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Bengals come into the bout with a record of 10-3. Blaine won 67-60 in their recent non-league bout against Rogers (Rogers, MN)

Next up, the Cougars play the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a AAAA Section 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 75-64 non-league win over Champlin Park (Champlin, MN).
