Ohio High School Basketball - National Trail overwhelmed by Ansonia

The Ansonia Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting National Trail Blazers to 32 in the Tigers league victory on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mississinawa Valley for a Western Ohio contest on Saturday, January 21. Ansonia will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 61-53 league win over Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Blackhawks record now stands at 4-9.

The Blazers (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Valley View (Germantown, OH). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Valley View was routed by Brookville (Brookville, OH), 73-65, in a league contest.
