The Bear Creek Grizzlies tipped the host Sultan Turks basketball team by a final score of 58-57 in Friday's league game.
In their next game, the Grizzlies face the University Prep Pumas (Seattle, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound game, on Saturday, January 21. Bear Creek will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Pumas enter the game with a 5-6 record after their 59-36 league loss to Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA).
With the defeat, Sultan moves to 12-2 on the year. The Turks travel to Bush (Seattle, WA) to face the Blazers in a 1A Emerald Sound game on Tuesday, January 24. The Blazers go into the test with a record of 5-7. Bush lost 69-58 in their recent league test against South Whidbey (Langley, WA)
