The Bloomfield Hills Black Hawks basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Lake Orion Dragons to 55 in the Black Hawks league triumph on Friday.

The Black Hawks now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seaholm for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Bloomfield Hills will battle a Maples team coming off a 54-51 league win over Oxford (Oxford, MI). The Maples record now stands at 5-6.

The Dragons (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against De La Salle Collegiate (Warren, MI). The Pilots enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, De La Salle Collegiate was nudged by Christian (Grand Rapids, MI), 63-58, in a non-league contest.
