Landry-Walker (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bonnabel Bruins (Kenner, LA), 66-63 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Landry-Walker upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy (New Orleans, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A District 10 bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-4.
Next up, the Bruins play the Landry Buccaneers (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Bonnabel will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 62-57 non-league win over John Ehret (Marrero, LA).
