Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lewistown Indians (Lewistown, IL), 55-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Brimfield upgrades its record to 10-12 on the season. The Indians travel to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL) to play the Tigers in a Tomahawk bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Illini Bluffs won 60-47 in their recent non-league bout against Bogan (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Indians play the Farmington Farmers (Farmington, IL) in a Prairieland bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Lewistown will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Farmers go into the bout with a 16-8 record after their 41-39 non-league loss to Knoxville (Knoxville, IL).
