With the victory, Green River improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Escalante (Escalante, UT) to confront the Moquis in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Moquis come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Escalante lost 76-71 in their recent non-league challenge against Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Soroco Rams (Oak Creek, CO) in a 2A/1A Western Slope challenge, on Saturday, January 21. Caprock Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 55-38 league loss to De Beque (De Beque, CO).
