Fairbanks Panthers (Milford Center, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Catholic Central Irish (Springfield, OH), 50-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Fairbanks upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH) to clash with the Tigers in a Ohio Heritage bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-7. West Liberty-Salem lost 44-36 in their recent non-league bout against Anna (Anna, OH)

Next up, the Irish clash with the Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) in a Ohio Heritage bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Catholic Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record.
