With the win, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Chargers host Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Thornapple Kellogg won 57-55 in their recent non-league bout against Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI)

Next up, the Defenders clash with the Schoolcraft Eagles (Schoolcraft, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Tri-Unity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 46-45 league loss to Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI).
