Washington High School Basketball - Darrington ripped by LaConner

The LaConner Braves basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Darrington Loggers to 14 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lummi for a non-league contest on Monday, January 23. LaConner will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 82-50 league win over Tulalip Heritage (Marysville, WA). The Blackhawks record now stands at 8-3.

The Loggers (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Sound Christian (Tacoma, WA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 14-2 record. In their last contest, Sound Christian triumphed over Rainier Christian (Covington, WA), 68-21, in a league contest.
