DeSales Colts (Louisville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Doss Dragons (Louisville, KY), 74-72 in a league bout.

With the win, DeSales upgrades its record to 12-6 on the season. The Colts host Southwestern (Somerset, KY) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Southwestern lost 87-61 in their recent non-league bout against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)

Next up, the Dragons play the Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Doss will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 80-74 non-league win over Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY).
