Dierks Outlaws (Dierks, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR), 51-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dierks upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Outlaws travel to Caddo Hills (Norman, AR) to clash with the Indians in a 2A Region 7 bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 4-11.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Oden Timberwolves (Oden, AR) in a 1A Region 7 bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Lafayette County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record.
