Oregon High School Basketball - Elkton can't hold off Myrtle Point

The Myrtle Point Bobcats basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Elkton Elks to 46 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glendale for a 1A Skyline contest on Saturday, January 21. Myrtle Point will battle a Pirates team coming off a 62-49 league loss to Umpqua Valley Christian (Roseburg, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 0-12.
The Elks (11-5) will now prepare for their contest against Riddle (Riddle, OR). The Irish enter the 1A Skyline contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Riddle was nudged by Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR), 65-51, in a league contest.
