Illinois High School Basketball - Walther Christian Academy thwarts Ellison

The Walther Christian Academy Broncos (Melrose Park, IL) basketball knocked off the host Ellison Lions (Chicago, IL), 62-52 in Friday's league test.

The Broncos (8-10) will now prepare for their test against Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 4-14 record. In their last test, Illinois Lutheran went down by Donovan (Donovan, IL), 65-56, in a league test.

The Lions now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Chicago Tech for a non-league test on Monday, January 23.
