The Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) basketball crushed the host Lourdes Central Catholic Knights (Nebraska City, NE), 67-27 in Friday's non-league test.
The Knights (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Fillmore Central (Geneva, NE). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Fillmore Central was trounced by Tri County (DeWitt, NE), 61-48, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Sterling for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Lourdes Central Catholic will encounter a Jets squad coming off a 58-31 non-league loss to Southern (Wymore, NE). The Jets record now stands at 5-10.
