Illinois High School Basketball - Elmwood knocked off by Farmington

The Farmington Farmers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Elmwood Trojans to 38 in the Farmers league triumph on Friday.
The Farmers now sport a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Knoxville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Farmington will meet a Blue Bullets team coming off a 51-47 league loss to Annawan (Annawan, IL). The Blue Bullets record now stands at 11-9.
The Trojans (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Peoria Christian (Peoria, IL). The Chargers enter the Inter County contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Peoria Christian was outscored by Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL), 45-35, in a league contest.
