Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI) and the visiting Flint Southwestern Academy Knights (Flint, MI), saw Powers Catholic's basketball squad knock off Flint Southwestern Academy by a count of 76-64.

With the victory, Powers Catholic upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Central (Bay City, MI) to play the Wolves in a Saginaw Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Central lost 63-30 in their recent league challenge against Dow (Midland, MI)

Next up, the Knights play the Atherton Wolverines (Burton, MI) in a Genesee Area - Red challenge, on Monday, January 23. Flint Southwestern Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
