Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), 48-46 in a league bout.
With the victory, Fontainebleau upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Covington (Covington, LA) to play the Lions in a 5A District 6 bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-9. Covington lost 86-67 in their recent league bout against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA)
Next up, the Tornadoes play the St. Paul's Wolves (Covington, LA) in a 5A District 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Hammond will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 66-52 league win over Slidell (Slidell, LA).
