Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Foreman Hornets (Chicago, IL), 96-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Eagles travel to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL) to play the Ramblers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Ramblers go into the bout with a record of 18-5. Loyola Academy won 50-47 in their recent league bout against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Hornets play the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Foreman will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 47-36 non-league win over Wheeling (Wheeling, IL).
