The Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) basketball crushed the visiting International Academy Phoenix (Flint, MI), 84-55 in Friday's league test.
The Soldiers (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Linden (Linden, MI). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Linden was trounced by Fenton (Fenton, MI), 60-42, in a league test.
The Phoenix now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Hamady for a Genesee Area - Red test on Tuesday, January 24. International Academy will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 82-63 non-league win over Madison Academy (Burton, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 9-1.
