Rockford Christian Royal Lions (Rockford, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad crush the host Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL), 83-48 in a league test.

The Royal Lions (20-1) will now prepare for their test against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 7-14 record. In their last test, Timothy Christian was trounced by Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN), 53-40, in a non-league test.

The Cogs now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they host Somonauk for a non-league test on Monday, January 23.
