Heritage Christian Academy Lions (Haslet, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Grayson Christian (Sherman, TX), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Heritage Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Lions host St. Paul's Prep (Arlington, TX) to play the Lions in a TCAF District 2 bout on Monday, January 23. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-8. St. Paul's Prep lost 60-43 in their recent league bout against Victory Christian Academy (Decatur, TX)

Next up, the play the Boulevard Baptist Christian Cougars (Burleson, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Grayson Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record.
