The Watchung Hills Regional Warriors (Warren, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), 55-54 in Friday's non-league test.
The Warriors (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ). The Raiders go into the Skyland - Raritan test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Hillsborough got by The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ), 46-32, in a non-league test.
The Comets now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Scotch Plains-Fanwood for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Hillside will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 62-52 league loss to Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 7-5.
