The Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves to 53 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Jaguars now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ogilvie for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 24. Hinckley-Finlayson will battle a Lions team coming off a 67-57 non-league loss to Upsala (Upsala, MN). The Lions record now stands at 3-9.
The Wolves (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Nevis (Nevis, MN). The Tigers enter the A Section 5 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Nevis nudged Verndale (Verndale, MN), 73-43, in a non-league contest.
