Missouri High School Basketball - Risco knocked off by Holcomb

The Holcomb Hornets basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Risco Tigers to 59 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarkton for a Tri-County - Southeast contest on Tuesday, January 24. Holcomb will meet a Reindeer team coming off a 72-32 league loss to Cooter (Cooter, MO). The Reindeer record now stands at 7-7.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gideon (Gideon, MO). The Bulldogs enter the Tri-County - Southeast contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Gideon was outscored by Clarkton (Clarkton, MO), 56-41, in a league contest.
