The Vashon Wolverines basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Huntington Prep Irish to 53 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Modesto Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. Vashon will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 80-72 non-league loss to St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 16-5.

The Irish (12-8) will now prepare for their contest against The Burlington School (Burlington, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 17-11 record. In their last contest, The Burlington School was nudged by Staley (Kansas City, MO), 64-43, in a non-league contest.
