Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Stratford Red Devils (Stratford, CT), 59-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Immaculate upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bethel (Bethel, CT) to play the Wildcats in a Southwest bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Bethel lost 65-55 in their recent league bout against Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT)

Next up, the Red Devils play the Bunnell Bulldogs (Stratford, CT) in a Southwest bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Stratford will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 53-31 non-league win over Foran (Milford, CT).
