The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 80-79 in Friday's non-league test.
The Garnet Gulls (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Keyport (Keyport, NJ). The Raiders go into the Shore B - Central test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Keyport got by Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ), 76-54, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Manchester Township for a Shore B - South test on Tuesday, January 24.
