The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers basketball team (Platte, SD), was overwhelmed 76-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD)

The Orioles now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Central for a non-league battle on Monday, January 23. Lennox will confront a Trojans team coming off a 64-46 league win over Baltic (Baltic, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 2-6.

The Black Panthers (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Trojans come into the A Region 5 battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Parkston was overwhelmed by Winner (Winner, SD), 68-61, in a non-league battle.
