Louisiana High School Basketball - Liberty Magnet thwarted by Peabody

The Liberty Magnet Patriots basketball team (Baton Rouge, LA), was toppled 67-59 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA)

The Warhorses now possess a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tioga for a 4A District 2 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Peabody will confront a Indians team coming off a 67-49 league loss to Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA). The Indians record now stands at 8-10.

The Patriots (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Amite (Amite, LA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Amite was toppled by Walker (Walker, LA), 68-59, in a non-league battle.
