Peshtigo Bulldogs (Peshtigo, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI), 74-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Peshtigo upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Sevastopol (Sturgeon Bay, WI) to clash with the Pioneers in a Packerland bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Sevastopol lost 86-45 in their recent league bout against Oconto (Oconto, WI)

Next up, the Maroons clash with the Kingsford Flivvers (Kingsford, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. bout, on Monday, January 23. Menominee will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
