In Friday's non-league match, the host Mitchell Mustangs basketball team scored a good 71-57 triumph over the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Zephyrhills Bulldogs (Zephyrhills, FL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, January 24. Mitchell will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 9-9 record after their 52-33 league win over Fivay (Hudson, FL).
