The New Fairfield Rebels basketball team (New Fairfield, CT), was overwhelmed 78-52 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT)
The Lancers now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kolbe-Cathedral for a Southwest battle on Tuesday, January 24. Notre Dame Catholic will battle a Cougars team coming off a 65-55 league win over Bethel (Bethel, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 10-1.
The Rebels (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Green Wave come into the Southwest battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, New Milford trounced Joel Barlow (Redding, CT), 46-36, in a league battle.
