The Preble Shawnee Arrows routed the host Newton Local Indians basketball team by a final score of 65-36 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Arrows face the Legacy Christian Academy Knights (Xenia, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 21. Preble Shawnee will attempt to move on its 13-2 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 7-9 record after their 53-47 league loss to Yellow Springs (Yellow Springs, OH).

With the defeat, Newton Local moves to 8-7 on the year. The Indians travel to National Trail (New Paris, OH) to face the Blazers in a Western Ohio game on Friday, January 27. The Blazers enter the game with a record of 3-13.
