Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northeast Bearcats (Cairo, MO) and the visiting North Shelby Raiders (Shelbyville, MO), saw Northeast's basketball squad wallop North Shelby by a tally of 76-27.

With the victory, Northeast improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 12-8.

Next up, the Raiders play the Brashear Tigers (Brashear, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 23. North Shelby will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 66-45 league win over Bucklin-Macon County (Bucklin, MO).
