The Oscar Smith Tigers basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Western Branch Bruins to 39 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Deep Creek for a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, January 24. Oscar Smith will battle a Hornets team coming off a 82-79 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-11.

The Bruins (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks enter the Southeastern contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Hickory was routed by King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 75-25, in a league contest.
