The St. Paul Catholic Falcons (Bristol, CT) basketball nipped the host Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT), 69-65 in Friday's non-league test.
The Falcons (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Crosby (Waterbury, CT). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Crosby was tipped by Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT), 94-89, in a league test.
The Wolverines now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wilby for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 24. Oxford will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 84-61 non-league win over Wolcott (Wolcott, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-2.
