The Perry Commodores basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Ridgemont Golden Gophers to 49 in the Commodores league triumph on Friday.

The Commodores now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waynesfield-Goshen for a Northwest Central contest on Friday, January 27. Perry will meet a Tigers team coming off a 62-50 non-league loss to Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 4-10.

The Golden Gophers (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets enter the Northwest Central contest with a 9-5 record.
