Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pillager Huskies (Pillager, MN) and the host Proctor Rails (Proctor, MN), saw Pillager's basketball squad hold off Proctor by a tally of 68-65.
With the victory, Pillager improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Huskies host Bertha-Hewitt (Bertha, MN) to confront the Bears in a A Section 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
Next up, the Rails confront the Cloquet Lumberjacks (Cloquet, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Proctor will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 76-46 non-league loss to Superior (Superior, WI).
