The Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Walthill Blujays (Walthill, NE), 76-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Indians (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE). The Trojans go into the C2 District 6 test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Cedar Catholic walloped Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE), 63-30, in a non-league test.
The Blujays now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Tri County Northeast for a non-league test on Monday, January 23. Walthill will encounter a Wolfpack squad coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Wakefield (Wakefield, NE). The Wolfpack record now stands at 3-10.
