The Providence Catholic Celtics basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting St. Francis de Sales Pioneers to 58 in the Celtics league triumph on Friday.

The Celtics now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyola Academy for a Chicago Catholic - White contest on Tuesday, January 24. Providence Catholic will battle a Ramblers team coming off a 38-36 non-league loss to Taft (Chicago, IL). The Ramblers record now stands at 18-6.

The Pioneers (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Evergreen Park was nudged by Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL), 55-44, in a league contest.
