In Friday's non-league outing, the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) basketball squad edged the visiting Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA), by a margin of 62-61.
The Cavaliers (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 11-3 record. In their last outing, Pocono Mountain West was tipped by Louis E. Dieruff (Allentown, PA), 66-61, in a non-league outing.
The Buckhorns now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Scranton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 24. Wallenpaupack Area will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 53-47 non-league win over North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Knights record now stands at 5-8.
