The West Muskingum Tornadoes basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Sheridan Generals to 45 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Friday.

The Tornadoes now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Science Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 21. West Muskingum will battle a Hawks team coming off a 76-36 non-league win over Genoa Christian Academy (Westerville, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 9-7.

The Generals (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against River View (Warsaw, OH). The Black Bears enter the Muskingum Valley contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, River View ran past Crooksville (Crooksville, OH), 65-54, in a league contest.
