California High School Basketball - Apple Valley overwhelms Academy for Academic Excellence

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA) and the host Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA), saw Apple Valley's basketball squad wallop Academy for Academic Excellence by a count of 55-32.

With the victory, Apple Valley upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Sun Devils host Serrano (Phelan, CA) to play the Diamondbacks in a Mojave River challenge on Monday, January 23. The Diamondbacks come into the challenge with a record of 5-9.

Next up, the Knights play the California School for the Deaf-Riverside Cubs (Riverside, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 25. Academy for Academic Excellence will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record.
