Louisiana High School Basketball - Sulphur can't hold off Acadiana

The Sulphur Golden Tors basketball team (Sulphur, LA), was nudged 41-40 in Friday's league battle with the host Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA)
The Rams now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sam Houston for a 5A District 3 battle on Tuesday, January 24. Acadiana will battle a Broncos team coming off a 54-36 league loss to Carencro (Lafayette, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 7-14.
The Golden Tors (15-7) will now prepare for their battle against Southside (Youngsville, LA). The Sharks come into the 5A District 3 battle with a 11-6 record. In their last battle, Southside edged Barbe (Lake Charles, LA), 56-34, in a non-league battle.
